Knife and Weapon Surrender

Today marks the start of the National week long Operation #OpSceptre which looks to reduce knife and weapon crime.  

This is done by

Our amnesty bins are located outside Chorley and Leyland Police Station.  There's also one at Kingsfold Community Centre. 

Alternatively if you struggle to get to these locations reply directly to me by clicking the reply button or email ChorleyandSouthRibbleTaskForce@lancashire.police.uk

We will endeavour to collect the weapons you wish to surrender. 

Remember it's now illegal to possess certain items like knuckle dusters even in a private place like your home so this week is your time to hand them in without fear of prosecution.
